I flew Aeroflot a few times last year, no problems with any of the flights, business on the A330 was excellent. I havent flown Air China yet, but will this summer. The lounges at SVO were sufficient.

The HKG CX recommendation is pointless because:

SU - 7:40 travel time on a brand new A330 <$600 round trip, twice daily departures

CX - 15:00 travel time, only 3x a week, and last segment is on Dragonair or China Southern, $1300+ cheapest fare

If you are travelling in business class, you may want to look at Star Alliance programs that give 150% mileage for paid business fares on Air China.
