Just booked AC 25 YVR-PVG on August 5 in the J cabin. This is supposed to be a 763, and when I look at the cabin interior diagram on the AC website, it shows 8 rows of 1-1-1 pods. Normally, I book Seat 8A because it is the last row on the single side. However, the AC agent just advised me that this plane has 9 seats in the A line, and only 7 seats in the K line. What gives? Is this a different configuration? Any idea as to which seat would be better in terms of privacy and extra storage space? My first instinct was to go for 9A, but then I changed my mind and went for 7K. Advice??
