Yes, I am aware of this Call Center shuffle, I have been doing it for the past 6 months. It was only 24 hours before the flight so I didn't bother with it.

Very true, although I opted for this route rather than the one I wanted (MSP-ORD-PHL) because when I tried to book about a week in advance the ~4:30pm, ~5:30pm, ~6:30pm MSP-ORD flights were all sold out.

I rode one the other night. Rebooking to it from an exisiting ticket was painless (admittedly via the Prez Plat line). Seat assignment was right there on CO.com. The flight was on time. The plane comfortable (I was up front, but I took a peek in the back and it looked spacious, at least E+ did). Service was excellent. Overall I was very impressed. I'd do it again in a heart beat. ^
Well I guess YMMV as with many issues. I was able to easily add my OP# and assign myself an E+ seat on my original flight, although the earlier flight they put me on they did not have an E+ seat for me. I was confused on the upgrade front. My OP# was in the CO reservation but not the UA, I didn't feel like making an extra call if it wasn't necessary.

How was checking in? or did you just print online?
