If you use a free room certificate, you have to pay the full board which is 75 per person per day plus 180 park charges.

It's apparently not really worth going there for more than 3 nights, and from Nairobi, there are few selections as to how to get there. The short flight (round trip ) 2 adults and one child $850.

So...fully paid, 3 nights will be $3940 ex Nairobi which adds up to a about $440 per day per person. That's all based on an actual quoted stay later this year. Using Ovation certificates or FPC free night stay certificates, this could be widdled down to about $230 per person per day.

Just FYI. During Xmas/NY season, the flights (say, via Kenya Airlines, a Skyteam partner) from Europe or UK are about 2-3 times as expensive as the non-stop from HKG or Bangkok. So it might actually be cheaper to combine an African Safari with a Christmas Thailand vacation than to split these into two separate vacations. Just hop down to Nairobi for 3days and save $2000-3000 per PERSON on a J class ticket.
