Last year I flew a lot between YYZ and YYG, always on CRJs, always in 1C or 1D. The pros are: you get to stick your legs (or at least one of them) into the "front lobby" while the FA is doing the cart thing down the plane, and you get served drinks first. The con: no underseat stowage.

The 1A and 1E window seats are not that great because of the bulkhead.
