Jersey is NOT in the bludgy EU. It may be a Crown Dependancy, aka "British Islands", but it's not part of the EU ... so where do I live?

Can I be a Euro-Cheat? Apparently not ... I fly to LGW in CE, not Domestic, but that's not considered relevant by BAEC [with their one route to LGW]. I'm 'foreign', and yet I'm not?

However, the inside cover states ... I like that! US Immigration could see my Commander-in-Chief revisiting the War of 1776 if they pi§§ me around
I suppose the reason why they put EU on the cover is that you must have some rights as you are still some part of the UK. Even though you are technically not. Thats why we can get cheap flowers and cds via Jersey without VAT. However some countries probably dont even know where Jersey is. So the EU part is to remind them that you are still human beings and not aliens.

Jersey has a special relationship with the EU. Actually as citizens are British therefore you are part of the EU. However you arent able to take advantage of the movement of services, unless they are really Brits through birth or parents etc.

Which is probably why you cant register BA in Jersey and become a Euro Cheat, however a few feet to the East and they are more than happy to treat you as a Euro.
