We had a nice experience at the Holiday Inn. We appreciated that Kids Eat Free...especially at breakfast (we ordered oatmeal and the kids got a full meal...total cost $6 + tip). The downside is the crowds as its beach is adjacent to public access and is much more crowded than Crowne Plaza. And, it was a noisy hotel with unsupervised kids running the halls as late as midnight.

I've stayed at the Hilton next to Crowne Plaza and had a great experience!

I've only walked through the lobby of Crowne Plaza...it appears to be much more upscale than HI. However, the lure of Kids Eat Free compelled us to choose HI.
