I highly doubt it.

I had a mid-december IAD-LAX-IAD booked in order to requalify for 1k. With holidays coming up, there was obviously no time to rebook when IAD-LAX canceled.

I fought with milage plus for several days, and was told since I'd taken a refund no EQM/RDM would be granted.
