You happen to arrive in an area with numerous hotels. I could recommend you use some hotel search engine to see what you can find close by. I had a look at some hotels around for your date and the Ibis at Gare de l'Est - 500 meters walk from gare du nord is quoted at 65 eur for the night of the 26/04. I think this is a good cost/quality alternative. They should speak some English.
Be careful, many hotels outside big chains have a curfew at 11 pm or midnight.
And even if they don't, many are prone to deciding to resell the room if there is particularly high demand and they think they can get away with it... (usually more of a weekday problem and found with the big chains as well)
