Good eats that won't break the bank in London

Thought a new thread about decent but inexpensive places to eat in London would be in order as I did a search and just found a few here and there. Thankfully I found the thread on Weatherspoons and now know to avoid it!

I am starting this for my own selfish reason of wanting to know more places, and will start this off with the very few I know of...

I went to the one on Great Portland Street was amazed at both the prices and quality/freshness of food. Italian food that you order at stations and have to pick up at these same stations but the bonus is you can watch them make your food fresh. Plenty of very fresh ingredients and if you ask they will change up something to your own liking. Decor was modern and very comfortable and crowd was casual and relaxed.

Best Burger I had was at Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel bar. It was HUGE and for about 7.50 ish I got a cheese burger I could only eat half of, a huge order of steak fries and all the fixings. If I crave a burger when I am there, I will be munching on this again. The mayonise is different than in the US but way better and they give you a large portion so you can dip your fries in it!
