Wow!! I am surprised that Continental has been announcing all these great new deals but have not mentioned much about the increased in mile requirements to the award tickets!!!
When you look at the charts you think there is not much of a difference, but when you read the header and the old chart says 'amounts for round trip' while the new chart reads 'amounts for one direction of travel' there is a BIG difference.
I called and was told that it is because I am closed to my departure date (ok, one month away!), and no, it is not an uncommon route! I even tried different dates, weekends vs weekdays, and the 25K-35K round trip opportunities are GONE!!

Very dissapointed! I have been a very loyal customer, but this may just have me checking out the competition much much closer!
