I've stayed at the Ibis Gare du Nord La Fayette, a short walk from the station. It's fairly basic, but perfectly ok. It looks like it's running 83 euro (inclusive, prepaid) for that night.

The desk clerk did speak some English but wasn't especially friendly about it.
