The TSA blog has just posted a big self-congratulatory post about its "MyTSA" smartphone app being named as the "Best Government Mobile App".

Of course, when they first posted about this app, they ignored all the complaints about the uselessness of the "can I bring..." section since any screener can make up their own rules at any time. And now they're touting about how they're improving it by adding "type-ahead" functionality and video!

Glad to know there aren't any other, more important issues they could have addressed instead...
