I very rarely fly BA but signed up for the credit card last year when they were offering 100,000 free BA miles. Now trying to use the BA miles for flights on AA, searching via BA's website. I am finding award seat availability to be extraordinarily limited -- much more limited than AA award seat availability. I tried a bunch of "test" itineraries and hardly anything showed at all, unless I want to fly EWR-DFW on a Tuesday morning at 6am, 10 months from now -- not exactly an exciting use of award miles. Any bright ideas on how to burn 100,000 BA miles? More importantly, any way to see AA award seat inventory using BA miles, other than the "hunt and peck" method? Thanks.
