Moana Surfrider started to make room renovation including lobby area.
They plan to renovate floor by floor.

I don't know when and how the lobby will be renovated.

Although I live in Honolulu, I like the Verandah area - truely Hawaiian feeling.
(other hotels I like are the courtyard of Halekulani & the beach of Kahala Mandarin-nothing special but both areas are pieceful and quiet)

I hope you will see much better Moana Surfrider in next year.
