Last line of defense? If you count the clerk that was fat enough to physically fit in between the WTMD, I don't see how she will tackle the terrorist about to shoot/blow up the checkpoint...
Maybe she could spontaneously blow up like those beached whales. She could scatter her blubber all over the potential terror threats in the terminal.
