I've found there's a difference between domestic & int'l, not limited to Marriott. Int'l (usually) free booze. Domestic (usually) not. I've been to int'l Hiltons w/ free booze & domestic Hiltons where there's an attendant that pours the drink/has you sign the chit right then; Hilton's not taking chances on the honor part.
