I've read the Best Luggage thread, I've utilized my Google-fu and read reviews. I realize that most any purchase is subjective, but unlike so many of my other purchases, I am having great difficulty finding a great set of luggage. When I buy anything I do a lot of research first. I tend to make one informed purchase and happily stick with the results for many years. So in luggage I'm looking for a very durable yet versatile set. I want one checked bag, a maximized carry-on, and possibly another shoulder bag. I want to use the maximum amount of allotted storage space while remaining 100% airline compliant. So weight and dimensions are the most important. In summation:

1. Airline weight/size compliant

2. Ridiculously durable.

3. Maximum storage capacity
