Yesterday, I began looking at the options for an upcoming trip to Europe. One of the possibilities I was looking at involved both trans-Atlantic segments being on AirFrance 777's. After Delta.com displayed the price for the itinerary, I was given the option to "upgrade to First/Business" for an additional $280. This seemed way too good to be true, since I wasn't able to price a business ticket anywhere close to that. As I explored a little more, I learned that this was really an upgrade to a "W" fare, which is Air France's premium economy.

Two questions...Am I the only one that thinks it is very misleading for Delta to sell this as a "First/Business" product?

The second question is for anyone that has been in this section on AirFrance. The configuration on the 777 is 2-4-2. The only seats available are the middle seats in the center section on one of the segments. I'm sure I am not the only one that absolutely will do anything to avoid a center seat on a long flight, so is this product better enought to have a center seat as opposed to an aisle in the back?
