The bus from the arriving EK flight will take everyone to the arrival terminal by default. When you get there, tell the agent standing outside or just inside the door that you need to be transported to the premium terminal (or main departure terminal, as the case may be), and you will catch another bus from there.
Do QR & EK have an interline agreement? I don't know, but if they don't then won't SJPaul have to go through arrivals & pick up his luggage before proceeding to the Premium Terminal land-side to check in for his QR flight? Or is there an informal arrangement that means you can do the formalities air-side?
