You'll survive.

Lots of kids here are black riders. The odds are low that you will get caught. If you do the math, the rare times you get caught and pay the fine, is less than if you paid each trip. However as I can afford it, and don't want to deal with the hassle of paying a fine, I always touch in and touch out.
