Hi all,

I've just been on the phone to check reward availability for NYC-LAS one way. I'm being told that the taxes amount to $86 per passenger. On the operating airline's website, they total less than $13. I've asked for a breakdown, but have been cut off once and another time told there was bad static on the line (which sounded like somebody rubbing their phone over the microphone) before being put back to the 'thank you for calling' menu.

Do Diamond Club add any fees of their own? He told me that the $86 is for customs taxes - but on a domestic flight?!

Any help would be appreciated!
