Last October while traveling with my elderly mother, the hotel we stayed in had a loaner manual wheelchair for use during our stay. This was in Beijing, and the Park Plaza Wangfujing & the Regent each had w/cs, but best to inquire ahead with their staff re availability. -- If we were to re-visit SH, I would be asking the hotels about w/c loaners.
