Comparing Mandarin Oriental and Landmark Mandarin Oriental
I'm leaning towards either the Mandarin Oriental or the Landmark Mandarin Oriental for a trip this summer holidays for my girlfriend and myself.
We have been looking at a few different hotels and we fancy these two the most because of the feedback in this thread and because it looks and feels more modern than hotels like the Four Seasons and the Peninsula. We like a more modern and stylish feel compared to the more calm and old fashioned and classic feel. We'll be going for a room and not a suite because we do not need the added space.
But we can't really tell the Mandarin Oriental and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental apart from each other? Other than the MO being located near the harbour and opting for harbour view rooms and LMO being located in the central part of Hong Kong with easy access to about anything.
Price range seems to be pretty much the same, and the rooms seems very alike? I do notice a hourglass spa bath in every room at the LMO but it doesn't seem to be anything like this offered at the MO?
