When the tunnel first opened, they played the song "Music for Airports" as specified by the architect, Helmut Jahn. The song was designed to make people relax, but it did not go over well with the folks from United. They replaced the music with a bleep-blop type thing that every once in a while would turn into Rhapsody in Blue. Unfortunately for United, they had signed an agreement with the architect saying they would not change anything for X years, so the parties ended up in court. The parties reached a compromise and United was able to continue playing their music rather than the original piece specified by the architect.

I've spent the past half hour trying to find a source to back up this story, but have not been able to locate one. So, if any of you out there can help me document this, please share.
