Just wanted to tell you about the outcome of the above ... Arrived in Bangalore Airport, went to Bag Drop and mentioned that my paid for seat wasn't available anymore. The male agent was very nice and very understanding. He told me that I could get a refund but that he would check other options first. Finally I ended on 31A which was in WTP ! RESULT !
But the story doesn't end here ... After about 1 hour in the flight, my IFE started to play up ... The CSD came to check and rebooted my system 3 times but to no avail. She's been absolutely fantastic and very apologetic.
She told me that she would find a solution for me. After quite a while, she came back to tell me she would have like to upgrade me to CW but for fairness, she had upgraded a silver card holder to move me to his seat but still in WTP, especially as I already had been upgraded. The IFE this time worked except for the moving map which was very blurry.
I've thanked her very much and I would like to do it here as well. Well done Michelle !!! ^^^
