Well here in Hong Kong (where the BK franchise is owned by a separate company - Perfect Combo Limited), it's viewed as a premium brand when compared to McDonalds. Prices at BK tend to be 30-60% higher than that of McDonalds, but it's ok with Hongkongers since they generally find the taste (especially the fries) to be better and are willing to shell out more.
