Many thanks to Gaucho100K, Flyme2 and AustrianFT for responding to my queries.

I just got back from a 3 night stay at the Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta and as I kept my expectations "low" I had a pleasant stay at the "resort".

I was,however, disappointed with the rather limitted variety of local food available on the menu at the only restaurant in the hotel, though the quality of food was excellent.

There was also no newspaper delivered to my room, and there appears to be a shortage of English language newspaper in the hotel.

Though taxis were generally inexpensive and plentyful, I had to wait for almost 30 mins for a taxi to downtown at 7am in the morning!

As I only managed to read Flyme2's post after I got back, I didnt take advantage of the complimentary aiport pickup. However, upon checking-out I was offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport which was a nice gesture.

I also found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly, which made up for the little glitches during my stay.
