Collect Aeroplan Miles on LX 8066 (Edelweiss Flight to Male)
Hello:

I have to travel to Male (Maldive Islands) at the beginning of April for business, returning at the end of April.

Given a choice, I would prefer to travel on LX 8066 (which I presume is Edelweiss flight WK 66 under another name). I would like to know if I can collect Aeroplan miles (Aeroplan being the Air Canada frequent flyer program) on this flight.

The alternative, which would be my second choice, would be to travel from ZRH to Vienna, then fly to the Maldives on Austrian OS 45. I know that I would be able to collect miles on this flight.

It is my intention to book a business class ticket.

If anyone could advise me if I can collect Aeroplan miles on flight LX 8066 - this assumes I book the ticket through Swiss Air Lines - I would be grateful.
