Just did that very thing with LAN and am not planning to use the return (scheduled for next week). If you decide to go that route, book the return leaving from Montevideo and you will also avoid the "built-in" flight exit fee from Argentina (almost $40 pp IIRC) In other words, I booked us SCL-AEP-MVD-SCL for a total price of €97 pp (ca. $135)
