Agreed. No standard configuration 737-700 has extra room in any exit seat except for the two window seats, where there is infinite legroom. The only advantage of the non-window seats is the seat in front of you won't recline.
The CO version of that plane is configured identically to DL's and Seatguru has a more realistic rating for that row. Also, the CO version has a nice cutout in front of 1 AB, which makes those seats very comfortable. I have always wondered why DL never built cutouts in any of their bulkheads. NW was pretty good about that.
