It's disgusting that there have been repeated reports of these sorts of abuses but unfortunately none have been recorded in sufficient detail to convey the sadistic nature of this behavior.

One would hope that there is enough decency left in this country that video of this animalistic behavior would make it to the mainstream and initiate some reform.
