Someone who sexually assaults others for a living DESERVES all the abuse they get. And while properly done, "pat downs" border on sexual abuse, the majority of people who post here have had pat downs that were not properly done and those doing them should have been arrested. Someone who earns their living bullying people into going into a machine they don't want to go through ( sure most people go through because they have no idea what these machines are, but there have been posts from young pregnant women that didn't want to go through and asked to opt out but were coerced into going through and then regreted it) deseve all the abuse we can give them. I don't know if the news story about the restaurant not serving TSA was true, I do know that if I had a retail business they would not be allowed in the door. 9-11 is an just excuse by those wanting to turn this country into a police state. These measure atre geared more to finding drugs than explosives which could still be easily hidden. The underwear bomber was an intelligence failure (his father turned him in, he was still allowed on the plane). The x-ray and metal detector was just as effective as the new procedures, actually more effective since the metal detector alarms even when the tSO is not paying attention. (The recent box cutters and gun i bra would have been found under the old system). You can defend these people all day. Me, I'm hoping the Texas legislature passes their TSA bills. On a personal level, almost all of the TSA people who post here are decent people who seem to be doing their job the way it is supposed to be done. From the complaints posted here, they are the exception.
