Unhappy Lost T-Mobile G2. Pay full price for a replacement, or wait for a better phone?

I loved my T-Mobile G2. I loved the keyboard, the OS, the fact that I could make myself a hot-spot and tell Starwood to go pound sand with their $20/night internet fees...

Alas, while catching a very early AM flight out of BUD earlier this week, I left it *somewhere*. It ain't coming back. RIP.

Anyway, I am wondering whether to pay the full price *now* ($500) for a new one, or wait and see if an even better phone with a slide keyboard is coming down the pipe at T-Mobile. (If I have to pay full price, I might as well get the latest and greatest).

So my question is: is there a new, super-duper, will-make-me-a-sandwich phone coming soon? (With a keyboard).
