Yes, but you are penalizing yourself probably as much as PL. I can rarely beat PL's NYOP hotel rates, and to top it off, I usually know exactly which hotel I will be winning for my bids. I don't only bid last-minute on PL. Actually, bidding several weeks in advance with PL NYOP has some advantages.
So suit yourself, but I save tons of money with PL's NYOP.
