Get in touch with the hotel. I had this issue when trying to use my 2 bonus certificates, but emailed the reservations people at the hotel in question and they upgraded me. You need to book the room first and then send them the confirmation number, at least that was what I had to do.
You are a Plat Prem, the OP is a Gold. You have not identified the hotel nor when you wanted to use the certs, neither has the OP.
Methinks that given the disparity in status and the lack of further info, the OP may not be sucessful.
