I contacted an individual at Marriott concerning the upcoming inclusion of the AC hotels and the new Autograph properties into Marriott vis a vis my upcoming trip to Spain.
The following may be relevant to other's needs:
The AC Hotels by Marriott and 4 Autograph properties will be active on Marriott.com by the end of May, however will not be part of Marriott Rewards until closer to the end of the year.
I don't know if the above concerning Marriott Rewards is accurate for although SPG has some hotels on their website that don't participate in SPG Guest Rewards, to my best recollection, anything that has ever appeared on Marriott.com has either earned MR points or has been available to book with rewards points.
Anyone know differently?
