I just finished booking a summer trip from Toronto to Corfu, Greece via AC and Aegean, Tango Plus fare. Had to do it by phone as you can't book to CFU online. May be just as well...the AC agent warned me that on our return trip, Aegean's baggage rules would take precedence, so if one of us pays AC $50 to take a second suitcase, Aegean could charge as much as $300 to check it in on the return trip! It used to be that European airlines would accept more than their standard one suitcase weighing 20K for intra-Europe trips if their flight was the first leg of a transatlantic trip. Has this convention changed?
