I wouldn't expect UA to give me anything, but to ask them to contact CO's Elite customer service desk on my behalf. This is similar to what UA 1K's have to do via the phone to get the Elite benefits (ELR seat assignments, etc.) on CO.
good luck with that getting ELR is 1 thing but expecting UA to get CO to ante up when they have nothing to do with it well... basicaly by calling all they did was let CO know that you are a 1K and enetitled to the ELR for free so instead of giving you whatever is leftover at the airport CO assigned it to you ahead of time, no big deal , giving compensation is a whole other story and I wouldnt expect anyone at UA to make sucha call on my behalf even if I was a GS
besides I added to my 1st post all that CO seems to be responsible for is the 5 1/2 delay of its flight and the MX with JJ and SSA being KOed isnt their problem, dont know if CO will offer anything above the Kit you already got and that isnt something they hand out like candy
CO isnt UA their attitude is usually 'what are you complaining about we flew you from A to B and you got there alive'.
With UA 10% a flight is usually 1 of the 3 options as well along with x miles and $x off a domestic flight
