If it is any help, I can advise you that last year we took some of our younger crew to Bali, they loved the GH, but hated Sanur. The main reason was there was nothing to do in Sanur after 8pm. I would argue there is nothing to do in Nusa Dua also. But if it's beaches and adventure you are after in Bali, it will matter little where you stay, as the buses pick you up each morning for your next adventure and the beach is just outside your door. The Sanur property closes this year, it is our favourite and it will be missed however we have marked the room by the pool at the GH that we will use for the next two years.
