Yup, the only reason I went to any McDonald's in Europe as well. But the couple I stopped in seemed to require (encourage?) a purchase, so ironically I bought a giant iced tea. After that, I realized the bathroom code was printed at the bottom of the receipt, so I just sneaked a look at receipts on people's tables.
