So, I allowed this might just be with this single flight. Before the disaster, it was very easy to find flights on Delta to Japan (Osaka) for under $1000. Easy.

Perhaps you would prefer gov't-mandated supply management? But before you pull that trigger, ask yourself why milk costs 3 times as much in White Rock, BC as it does in Blaine, WA.
