Does this still work?

Because I did exactly this process in February (buy a fully refundable ticket over the value of the voucher and cancel before voucher expiration) and only got a refund for the overage back to my credit card, but the voucher now says "closed" in my account and the expiration date is passed

Do I have any options here?
