It just gets better and better (a new way to gouge)

Delta has found another way to gouge. With the potential for fewer people flying (or cancelling) Delta has decided to suspend flights to Haneda. they are now allowing those who must fly, who had flights to a perfectly good airport in Tokyo, to reschedule to Narita at no cancellation or change fees.

But there will be hundreds in fare differential that will be collected

These were not cancelled flights because of airport damage. They call it "efficiency"

Efficiency == We figured out how to make more money

Basically Delta is consolidating flights, of their own choice, not due to circumstances and forcing passengers to pay higher fare differentials.
