That it does -- 005 is CO ticket stock (just as 001... is AA, 004... is DL, 016... is UA, etc.)

If you've got the M+ number to show on the UA side and the OP number on the CO side, than I'd *guess* you should be okay. For my tickets nowadays I'm having to go the other way (UA issued tickets that have CO sectors) and as long as the UA site shows my 1K number, the upgrades process correctly for them just as the CO ones work if my OnePass number is in my CO PNR.

I don't think you'll have to worry about splitting PNRs, just make sure both the CO and UA websites list everything correctly.
