My very quick estimates would be:
28K POINTS (not dollars) in my first iteration 6-1 thru 6-12 or thereabouts
Then another 40K points thru end of June

So, for June 1-30, I estimate about 68K points earned. Not even close to what I could have earned had I been able to charge all the charges I made to this very difficult card to use with the particular merchants I frequent.

Now, I'm in a mad race to hit the threshold as early into this new month as possible, so my last iteration will all be double points

Major observation thus far:
Its a bear getting up and over an 8K threshold, primarily because of: poor to zero acceptance of the AMEX card at so, so many of merchants I deal with. By contrast, I estimate I charged yet again this many Aadvantage (Citibank) miles (50K or more at least) and throw in another 20K or so of SWA Rapid Rewards credit (First Bank I think) during the same period. If AMEX were more mainstream, and/or could get their policy straight with paypal, this could have been a real blockbuster of a promotion. With AMEX's poor acceptance at many merchants that would otherwise sell large-ticket items, and given AMEX's really obscenely-low paypal limitations and constraints, it is a true struggle to use AMEX at all. Sometimes I wonder why bother.
