Great report, I flew on QF 388 in F twice from LHR and LAX to SYD and it was the best experience as the hard product is just incredible. Part of the experience is due to the aircraft what a master piece, the noise level, pressure of the cabin... This is why I am not sure any comparison with the 744 is fair. To me the 747 were the best untill the 388 came. It just cannot be compared. And if you get a chance to take a look at the flight deck of both planes one would understand how much they are from different area and the 388 is just on a another level.
