I'm 5-star on hertz, and most of our employees are gold. We have about 20 people who travel frequently, and as a company we probably rent 10 cars per month throughout the US, maybe 30 days per month. We're small potatoes, but we do have a Hertz agreement and rate which is helpful, especially as it allows any employee to drive the cars.

Does anyone have a recommendation on the best way to get a switch-over to happen? I'm not sure if we're large enough to justify anything, and if not, our company allows us to rent from anyone, so many will likely defect due to repeated issues with hertz in the last 6 months.

Is there a status match equivalence?
I would suggest that you contact the National sales department that handles corporate contracts - perhaps they can do something for you since you do have a "few" people who rent regularly.

A "new" corporate contract is also the only way that a "status match" happens - they don't do what airlines and hotels do.
