was on 761 from SAT to EWR monday, 2:30 sked dep.
Flt was delayed due to late arriving inbound. Finally boarded, all on board ready to close up.....maitenance eng in cockpit on cell phone checking panels behind copilots seat.
GA comes on board at 5:20 and anncs flt is cancelled, crew has timed out, everyone off plane to gate area.
GA back in gate area anncs crew being flown in from IAH, flt now not cancelled and will depart 9:50pm, almost 7 1/2 hrs late.

No compensation for delay whatsoever!!!!!
