I'm surprised that a platinum concierge can personally extend/grant platinum status when someone did not have sufficient nights/stays. There must be something more to the story....

For example, someone already asked, but did the OP complete 24 stays or nights? Also, did the platinum concierge actually promised to renew the status, or just merely thanking OP for being a Platinum member?
